International Christian Recovery Coalition has just joined this tremendous site. It will post articles about the Christian origins, history, founding, original Christian Fellowship program of early A.A., its successes, and the changes which have taken place.

There is a hunger among Christian leaders and Christians in recovery and recovery work for melding the strength of the 12-Step movement with the role that God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Bible played in recovery from 1850 forward.

The real recovery successes began to be achieved long before A.A. and the 12-Steps. They were carried out by the YMCA lay workers, Evangelists like Dwight Moody and Billy Sunday, Gospel Rescue Missions, Salvation Army, and Young People's Society of Christian Endeavor. www.dickb.com/drbobofaa.shtml. Their work was absorbed through the Christian upbringing and activities of the cofounders of A.A. - Dr. Robert H. Smith and William G. Wilson.

We believe that Christian recovery--comprehensive Christian recovery begins when AAs, 12 Step people, Christians, churches, treatment programs, counselors, therapists, and alcoholics and addicts themselves learn the full spectrum of how God helps and heals alcoholics.

To assist, we provide our class "Introductory Foundations for Christian Recovery" www.dickb.com/IFCR-Class.shtml. And we provide the
Dick B. Christian Recovery Guide www.dickb.com/Christian-Recov-Guide.shtml.

We certainly invite your contacting us at!@#!@#B. PO Box 837, Kihei, HI 96753, or dickb@dickb.com, or 808 276 4945. We try to answer all courteous communications.
