i prayed to my heavenly father about my situation and i realized that i do want to sing and i do want the lord to use me. being in the ministy is difficult, but due to the message i got from a young preacher today, i know that it's worth it. thanx for your opinion. god bless you!

You're right... it is such a privledge to lead God's children to His throne in worship, isn't it?!
A lot of times in ministry, we can find ourselves doing things for man, and not for God. Be sure that you are ministering for the right purposes.
Even when we are doing tasks that we "love" to do, after repeted doing, they can often become boring...You're right however when you say You don't feel worthy of doing it. Who are we that we are able to lead others into the presence of God? It's no responsibility to be taken lightly! But you can not be leading a ministry if you are not called (#1) by God. Yes, maybe you are doing your father a favor, perhaps, but You have to follow God even above Your earthly Father. If you do not feel like it is a task you want to continue doing for the Lord, then speak up.
Finally, why are you worried about what others might think about you? If they are true people of INTEGRITY, then they will not judge, snear, or gossip. IT'S NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS!
It's a tough thing being in the ministry... and if you are not Called of God, it can be a dangerous duty. Keep in prayer, and I know that my God will give you a clear direction!
